The iconic Braun SK6, designed by Dieter Rams and Hans Gugelot in 1961, is a celebrated masterpiece of German Mid-Century Modern industrial design. Affectionately known as "Snow White's Coffin", this innovative audio system combines a radio and turntable within a compact, minimalist structure. Featuring a white metal body, warm wooden side panels and a distinctive transparent Plexiglass lid, the SK6 exemplifies the functional elegance that defined Braun's design philosophy. The clear cover protects the turntable while revealing its carefully arranged components, creating a striking balance between technology and aesthetics. With its clean geometric lines and understated materials, this collectible design icon reflects Dieter Rams' influential principle of "less, but better". A timeless statement piece for enthusiasts of vintage audio equipment and twentieth-century design.
