A refined “Juliette” sofa designed by Robert Guillerme and Jacques Chambron for Votre Maison, France, during the 1960s. The design embodies the warm, architectural character for which the duo became celebrated, combining a substantial solid oak frame with a softly rounded back and generous upholstered seating. Carefully shaped wooden elements and robust construction give the sofa a sculptural presence, while the upholstery introduces comfort and visual softness to its expressive structure. Produced by Votre Maison, the Juliette exemplifies the distinctive character of post-war French furniture, where traditional craftsmanship and natural materials were reinterpreted through a modern design language. With its compact yet commanding proportions, it works beautifully as a statement sofa in a living room, library or curated interior.
