This elegant vintage low sideboard, designed by Pieter De Bruyne in 1959 for Al Meubel, represents an early example of the Belgian designer's distinctive approach to Mid-Century Modern furniture. Crafted from teak with a rich brown finish, the piece combines clean architectural lines with refined craftsmanship and carefully considered proportions. Its beautifully detailed base features elegant metal fittings, adding a subtle decorative contrast to the warm wood tones. The low-profile silhouette creates a sophisticated, understated presence, making this sideboard an excellent addition to living rooms, dining areas or curated modernist interiors. A collectible example of Pieter De Bruyne's early furniture design, the piece balances functionality with timeless aesthetic appeal. Preserved in very good vintage condition, with some age-related marks visible on the wood, as shown in the photographs.
