This exceptional Model 51063 chandelier, designed by Gunnel Nyman and manufactured by Idman Oy in Finland during the 1940s, exemplifies the elegance and craftsmanship of Finnish vintage lighting design. Featuring three elongated, softly fluted glass shades supported by gracefully curved brass arms, the chandelier combines refined proportions with sculptural detailing. Its distinctive central structure incorporates intricate coiled and looped brass elements, creating an organic silhouette that reflects Nyman's sensitivity to materials and decorative form. The combination of warm glass and beautifully patinated brass produces soft, atmospheric illumination, making this piece an elegant focal point for dining rooms, living spaces or sophisticated interiors. A collectible example of mid-century Finnish design, Model 51063.
