This sculptural set of six high-back dining chairs, crafted in the style of Giuseppe Rivadossi, captures the essence of Italian Brutalism through its balance of strength and refinement. Made from solid teak, each chair reveals an architectural silhouette where form and material take center stage. The tall backrests feature subtle relief carvings, giving every piece a distinct character and tactile depth. Exposed joinery and square pegs highlight artisanal craftsmanship, while the slightly tapered legs and carved aprons add lightness and precision. The seats are gently angled for comfort, and the warm tone of the teak enhances their timeless appeal. Together, the chairs convey a quiet power, a harmony between solidity and sensitivity that defines Rivadossi’s influence. In very good condition, the set shows minimal wear consistent with age, maintaining its structural integrity and rich natural patina. A remarkable example of sculptural Italian furniture design.
