This Siesta 62 armchair, originally designed by Jacques Brule for Kaufeld in the early 1960s, has been completely redesigned and reupholstered in an extravagant black leather and high-quality, fur-like fabric. The luxurious material on the cushions, armrests, and ottoman provides an exceptionally comfortable seating experience, reminiscent of genuine fur. With its bold dimensions and striking angles, the Siesta 62 remains one of the most impressive armchairs of the 1960s. The chair features a heavy, solid turntable base, allowing for smooth rotation, adding to both its practicality and visual impact. Hans Kaufeld, the renowned German designer, established his company in 1918, producing high-end furniture that even furnished the Chancellery in the 1960s. This one-of-a-kind Siesta 62 armchair, in top condition, is a true collector’s piece, embodying timeless mid-century modern elegance.
