A rare set of two office chairs by Burkhard Vogtherr for Fröscher, Germany, designed in the 1970s and produced in the early 1980s. These refined chairs feature warm cognac leather upholstery paired with sleek black fiberglass shells, exemplifying Vogtherr’s elegant modernist style. The soft leather shows only minimal wear, while the integrated springs and recline mechanism ensure comfort and functionality. Versatile in use, they work equally well as office seating or as distinctive dining chairs. Fröscher, founded in the 1920s as a barber chair manufacturer, later became renowned for quality furniture production and is today linked with Rosenthal Möbel. In very good vintage condition, these chairs represent both German craftsmanship and Vogtherr’s lasting design legacy.
