A striking German Modernist table lamp produced during the 1940s, showcasing the clean functional lines and refined industrial aesthetic that defined early post-war European lighting design. This authentic vintage example features its original Bakelite and brass base, a slender brass stem, and a beautifully shaped brass and steel shade finished in its original cream paint. The harmonious combination of warm brass, glossy Bakelite and soft cream tones gives the lamp an elegant, timeless character that complements Mid Century Modern, Bauhaus and Contemporary interiors alike. Expertly restored, professionally cleaned, fully rewired and PAT safety tested, the lamp is supplied ready for use with an E27 LED bulb. Presented in exceptional original vintage condition with a beautifully preserved finish and only light wear consistent with age and use.
