The Cesca chair by Marcel Breuer is one of the most iconic designs of the Bauhaus movement and a true modernist classic. Originally designed in 1928, this example is labeled made in Italy and reflects the enduring appeal of Breuer’s revolutionary cantilever concept. The tubular chrome steel frame creates a light, floating effect, while the natural cane seat introduces warmth and contrast. The cane has been replaced and is in mint condition, ensuring both durability and comfort. The combination of industrial material and organic weaving defines the timeless aesthetic of the Cesca model. Suitable for dining spaces, offices or as an accent chair, it integrates effortlessly into both contemporary and vintage interiors. A design classic that embodies innovation, elegance and architectural clarity.
