Exceptional prototype magazine holder designed by Rob Parry in 1947, a one-of-a-kind piece from the celebrated Dutch designer’s early career. Crafted from a single bent aluminium sheet, it exemplifies Parry’s pioneering exploration of form, material, and functionality. This unique model was kept in the designer’s personal collection and never went into production, making it an important artifact of post-war Dutch design history. The piece comes with a signed document of authenticity, confirming its provenance. In good vintage condition, showing a beautiful patina consistent with age and careful preservation. A rare opportunity to own a true design prototype by one of the Netherlands’ most influential modern designers.
