A striking vintage glass table lamp, model RD 1461, designed by Gustav Leek for renowned Swedish glassmaker Orrefors in the 1960s. Defined by an elegant elongated silhouette, the sculptural base is crafted from vibrant orange glass, allowing light and reflections to enhance the richness and clarity of the material. Leek's restrained approach gives the lamp a distinctly Scandinavian character, balancing simplicity, craftsmanship and visual impact. Despite its 1960s origin, the clean form has a contemporary presence that works beautifully in both modern and classic interiors. Measuring 43.5 cm high, 15 cm wide and 10 cm deep, this substantial table lamp makes an elegant statement on a side table, console or desk. It remains in very good vintage condition and is currently wired with a plug suitable for Sweden and most EU countries. A collectible example of mid-century Swedish lighting and Orrefors glass craftsmanship.
