An iconic Kaiser Idell Model 6781 table lamp designed by Christian Dell, Germany, during the 1950s. This is the sought-after large version of the model, celebrated as one of the defining achievements of Bauhaus and early industrial lighting design. Characterised by its elegant brass stem and distinctive UFO-shaped shade, the lamp embodies Dell's philosophy of combining functionality with refined geometric forms. As head of the Bauhaus metal workshop, Christian Dell played a pivotal role in shaping modern lighting, and the Kaiser Idell collection remains one of the most influential designs of the twentieth century. This example has been professionally cleaned, fully rewired and PAT safety tested, ready for immediate use with an included E14 LED bulb. The lamp is presented in exceptional vintage condition with a beautifully preserved finish; it is believed to have been professionally resprayed at some point in its history. A timeless statement piece for Bauhaus, Mid Century Modern and Contemporary interiors.
