This Yellow Grashopper table lamp is a playful and eye-catching lighting piece from the 1950s, distinguished by its vibrant yellow lacquered metal shade and tripod base with hairpin legs in black metal. Its bold color and sculptural form make it a standout addition to mid-century and contemporary interiors alike. Produced in Belgium, the lamp exemplifies post-war European lighting design that embraces expressive color and directional functionality. The lacquered metal shade adds a cheerful accent while focusing warm, inviting light, ideal for reading corners, desks, or layered ambient lighting schemes. The slender hairpin leg tripod base emphasizes visual lightness and balances the graphic silhouette. Offered in mint original condition, this piece comes from the old inventory of a well-regarded lighting dealer from the past century that has since closed, ensuring its preservation and authenticity. Its condition reflects careful storage and limited use, with the vibrant finish and structural elements beautifully intact. This Yellow Grashopper lamp is perfect for design collectors and interiors seeking a joyful mid-century statement light that blends form, color, and directional functionality.
