This kidney-shaped cloud sofa by Vladimir Kagan for Weiman is an iconic expression of late-20th-century American modern seating. Crafted in the 1970s, the design exemplifies Kagan’s masterful command of organic form. The sofa’s flowing profile and generous curves resonate with Kagan’s signature aesthetic: bold yet elegant, soft yet sculptural. Upholstered in quality fabric, the piece invites relaxation and presence without sacrificing design integrity. Whether placed in a living room, lounge, or refined commercial setting, it harmonizes comfort with architectural impact. Offered in good vintage condition, this sofa retains its supportive form and overall appeal, with gentle signs of age that enrich its character. A collector’s piece in American modern design history, it brings both aesthetic distinction and everyday comfort to curated interiors.
