An iconic example of Italian design, the Eclisse table lamp was designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1965. Celebrated for its sculptural minimalist form and ingenious rotating inner shade, the lamp allows the light to be directed or softly dimmed, combining functionality with a distinctive Space Age aesthetic. This vintage 1960s example is finished in classic white and was made in Italy. Measuring 19 cm high and 12 cm in diameter, it is ideal as a bedside lamp, desk lamp or atmospheric accent light. The lamp remains in very good vintage condition, showing only a few very faint marks consistent with age and use. A timeless and highly collectible piece of mid-century Italian lighting by one of Italy's most influential designers.
