This absolutely stunning UFO pendant lamp from the 1960s is attributed to Italy, though similar cocoon designs were also produced in Germany during the period. The softly rounded cocoon shade is formed from sprayed resin, creating a lightweight structure that diffuses light into a warm atmospheric glow. The brass elements display a beautiful natural patina, enhancing the vintage character and sculptural presence of the piece. The shade remains in good condition with no tears or cuts, showing only some age related discoloration on the lower section as visible in the photos. With a diameter of approximately 46 cm and fitted for a general E27 lightbulb, the lamp offers both functional illumination and mid century elegance. Two are currently available, listed separately, similar but not an exact pair.
