This two-tier coffee table presents a refined interpretation of Maison Baguès–style design, blending sculptural elegance with luxurious materials. Conceived as a low table, the piece reflects the decorative modernism associated with French-inspired metalwork furniture, characterized by balanced proportions and ornamental restraint. The table features two stacked surfaces executed in black granite, offering a striking contrast between polished stone and the open, architectural base beneath. The dual-tier configuration introduces both visual depth and functional versatility, making it suitable for use in sophisticated living spaces or curated interiors. The stone surfaces display natural tonal variation inherent to granite, enhancing the table’s material presence. Designed in the Maison Baguès style rather than attributed to the maker, the table draws inspiration from classic mid-century and decorative arts traditions while remaining timeless in its appeal. The piece is offered in good condition, with light wear consistent with use, and retains its structural integrity and elegant silhouette. Its combination of sculptural form and rich materiality makes it a compelling accent piece for refined interiors.
