An iconic Togo three-seater sofa designed by Michel Ducaroy for Ligne Roset in 1973. One of the most celebrated seating designs of the twentieth century, the Togo transformed modern furniture with its revolutionary all-foam construction, ergonomic comfort and unmistakable pleated silhouette. Inspired by the folds of a crumpled toothpaste tube, the design won the René-Gabriel Prize and remains a timeless symbol of French design.
This example has been professionally reupholstered in luxurious olive bouclé with new high-quality foam while preserving its original internal structure and iconic sculptural form. Please note that the upholstery is not original Ligne Roset fabric, and in accordance with Ligne Roset policy, reupholstered examples cannot retain the original manufacturer's label.
Its inviting low profile, generous proportions and exceptional comfort make it a perfect statement piece for Mid-Century Modern, Contemporary and Minimalist interiors. Combining timeless aesthetics with everyday functionality, the Togo remains one of the most sought-after sofas for collectors and design enthusiasts alike.
