This original Tendo Mokko Zataku low table is a refined example of post-war Japanese modern design. Crafted using Tendo Mokko's renowned molded plywood technology, the tabletop and softly curved legs create a continuous, flowing structure that combines sculptural form with strength and visual lightness. Based on its proportions and construction, the table belongs to Tendo's classic Zataku family of traditional Japanese low tables, a design frequently attributed to Saburo Inui. The original Tendo Mokko manufacturer's label remains underneath, confirming its authenticity. Finished in warm-toned veneer with durable urethane lacquer, the table complements Japanese minimal, Mid-Century Modern, wabi-sabi and contemporary interiors. Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear.
