This captivating table lamp by Peter Pelzel for Vistosi dates to 1962, exemplifying the dynamic fusion of Italian mid-century modern design and high-quality Murano glass craftsmanship. The lamp features a vibrant orange glass base that anchors the design with bold color and expressive form, balanced by a milk-glass shade that softly diffuses light for an inviting ambient glow. Crafted in Italy, this piece embodies the rich tradition of Italian glassmaking that Vistosi is celebrated for, blending artistic expression with everyday functionality. Offered in excellent condition, the lamp has been well-preserved with only minimal age-related wear and a small internal chip that does not detract from its aesthetic presence or performance. This object transcends mere lighting, it’s a sculptural work that brings mid-century sophistication and vibrant character to contemporary interiors, making it ideal for collectors and design enthusiasts seeking an authentic piece of Italian design heritage.
