This Cosack “Elegant Table Lamp” is a quintessential piece of mid-century lighting design from Germany, crafted in the 1960s by notable manufacturer Cosack. The lamp features a chromed steel stem and base paired with a cylindrical plexiglass diffuser shade, creating a warm and even illumination that enhances both contemporary and classic interiors. The standout aspect of this design is its sliding mechanism, which seamlessly connects the shade to the stem, offering a refined sense of motion and adjustability. This piece exemplifies the clean lines and modern material juxtaposition popular in mid-century European lighting, making it both a functional light source and an elegant design object. Offered in good condition, it shows tasteful signs of age that affirm its authenticity while remaining ready to illuminate a workspace, sideboard, or living area with classic appeal.
