A striking Italian table lamp attributed to Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce, dating from the 1950s and exemplifying the refined geometric aesthetics of Italian mid century modern lighting. The lamp features a sculptural cylindrical design composed of blue lacquered metal elements surrounding a central white opaline glass diffuser, creating a sophisticated interplay of colour, light and form. A distinctive sliding upper metal section allows the diffuser to be partially covered, offering subtle control over the light output while enhancing the lamp’s architectural character. The composition is completed by a chrome plated side support and a circular white base accented with a delicate glass disc, giving the design an elegant sense of lightness. When illuminated, the opaline glass emits a warm and softly diffused glow that highlights the clean lines and timeless proportions of the piece.
