A true statement of Danish modern design, the Large Verona pendant was created in the 1960s by Svend Middelboe for Nordisk Solar. With its sculptural construction of seven individually spaced shades, this lamp is as striking unlit as it is illuminated, an architectural centerpiece that diffuses light with exceptional softness and control. Crafted in off-white lacquered aluminium with a grey interior, it delivers a calm, refined palette that pairs effortlessly with both mid-century and contemporary interiors. Made in Denmark and bearing the manufacturer’s logo, this is an authentic, collectible piece with strong provenance.
This example comes from a hotel in Denmark, adding a subtle layer of history to its presence. Offered in good vintage condition, showing light wear consistent with age. The lamp has been professionally cleaned in our workshop and fitted with a fresh white fabric cord, ready to bring sculptural elegance and atmospheric illumination to a dining room, living space, or hospitality setting.
