Elevate your interior with this Space Age Floor Lamp by BAG Turgi, a standout example of 1960s Swiss lighting design that captures the bold experimentation of mid-20th-century aesthetics. BAG Turgi, formally Bronzewarenfabrik AG, was among Europe’s most influential lighting manufacturers in the 20th century, known for merging industrial craftsmanship with innovative form. This striking floor lamp is distinguished by its vibrant orange lacquered base, a polished chrome stem, and a captivating Plexiglass globe shade suspended within an abstract metal support. The juxtaposition of bold color and gleaming metal embodies the optimistic futurism of the Space Age, translating technical ingenuity into sculptural lighting. Originating in Switzerland and offered in exceptionally well-maintained condition, this lamp retains its original character and visual impact with minimal signs of age or use. The soft, ambient glow from the Plexi globe enhances its visual appeal, making it as pleasing to behold as it is to illuminate. A compelling centerpiece for modern interiors, this BAG Turgi floor lamp appeals to collectors and design enthusiasts drawn to Swiss innovation and retro futuristic flair.
