Rare early Czech Functionalist seating set by Jindřich Halabala, produced by UP Závody in the 1930s. This museum worthy ensemble includes two H 128 cantilever armchairs and one H 13 round table, iconic examples of Halabala’s tubular steel design language. The chairs feature chrome plated steel frames with curved wooden armrests and backs, while the matching table stands on an elegant cross braced tubular base. All wooden surfaces were professionally restored in historically accurate colors: RAL 3016 Coral Red for the chairs and RAL 260 40 35 Bauhaus Blue for the table. Chrome elements are in excellent original condition with minimal wear. A highly collectible set that captures the radical modernity and avant garde spirit of interwar Czechoslovakia.
