A striking set of six original “Razorblade” dining chairs by Henning Kjærnulf for Nyrup Møbelfabrik, produced in Denmark during the 1960s–1970s. Crafted from solid oak, the chairs combine the weight and sculptural character associated with Brutalist design with expressive, Baroque-inspired carved details and distinctly Danish proportions. Decades of use have developed a rich grain and warm patina across the oak, giving the set a beautifully consistent character. The robust frames remain firm and structurally sound, with no loose elements, cracks or unwanted odours. Recently reupholstered in a complementary fabric, the seats are in very good overall condition with only minor imperfections. Bold yet highly functional, these original vintage Razorblade chairs bring sculptural presence and authentic Danish craftsmanship to both contemporary and traditional dining interiors.
