A beautiful set of six Ligna dining chairs, inspired by Josef Hoffmann's iconic Model 811 design. Produced in former Czechoslovakia after the nationalisation of the Thonet factories, these chairs retain the elegant bentwood construction that made the original design a timeless classic. Each chair features gracefully steam-bent armrests and a sculptural beech frame, showcasing the renowned bentwood manufacturing techniques pioneered by Thonet. Originally fitted with woven cane seats and backrests, this set has been professionally reupholstered in a refined blue fabric, offering enhanced comfort while preserving its distinctive silhouette. Each chair bears the original Ligna manufacturer's stamp, highlighting its authenticity. Perfect for dining rooms, meeting spaces or Scandinavian and Mid Century Modern interiors, these chairs combine historic design with everyday practicality.
