A rare modular sectional sofa produced by Salpol in Italy during the 1970s, reflecting the experimental spirit of Italian Radical Design. Built around robust internal iron frames, the independent modules can be freely arranged to create different seating configurations. The sofa retains its original Bayer Dralon velvet upholstery in a rich terracotta-burnt orange tone, complemented by button-tufted detailing across the backrests. The soft, tactile surface subtly changes appearance with the light, enhancing the generous sculptural volumes. The composition includes two large modules, one smaller module and one backless pouf/corner element, offering considerable flexibility for contemporary living spaces. Dimensions: large modules (x2) W 100 × D 92 × H 68 cm; small module W 85 × D 92 × H 68 cm; backless module W 82 × D 82 × H 40 cm.
