A refined set of four Italian dining chairs from the 1970s, in the style of Harry Bertoia, combining a graphic chromed steel wire structure with distinctive handcrafted leather seats. The open wire-grid shells and sled bases create a light, architectural silhouette characteristic of experimental Mid-Century Modern seating. Each chair is complemented by a cushion upholstered in hand-decorated leather by the historic D'Alessio Galliano tannery in Rome, featuring an organic, clouded surface in warm ochre and earthy tones. The richly textured leather provides an expressive contrast to the cool industrial character of the polished chrome. Presented in an excellent state of preservation, this sculptural set brings together Italian craftsmanship, material contrast and the geometric language associated with 1970s modernist interiors.
