An exceptional set of four armchairs designed by Vittorio Introini for Mario Sabot, Italy, during the 1970s. Exemplifying progressive Italian design of the period, each chair combines generous grey imitation leather upholstery with a striking frame of heavy chrome-plated steel. Vertical supports flow into broad semicircular runners, creating a sculptural, almost floating silhouette and reflecting Introini’s experimental approach to geometric and organic forms. The polished chrome provides a refined contrast to the understated upholstery, making the set ideal around a dining or conference table or within sophisticated hospitality interiors. Presented in excellent vintage condition, the grey upholstery remains exceptionally well preserved, while the substantial chrome frames retain a beautiful, even shine with minimal signs of age.
