This vintage Nuvolone modular sofa was designed by Rino Maturi for Mimo Padova and introduced in Italy in 1970. The set comprises three modular seating elements, each defined by deep padding, sculptural tufting and rounded, cloud-like forms characteristic of 1970s Italian Space Age and organic modern design. Rich rust-toned textured upholstery emphasizes the generous volumes and enveloping silhouette, while the modular construction allows the elements to be arranged freely. Each module measures W 92 x D 90 x H 72 cm, with a seat height of 39 cm. The molded "mimo PADOVA" manufacturer's mark is present underneath. Good vintage condition with light surface wear, tonal variation and age-related signs of use. The forms remain full and visually strong.
