A rare pair of Italian table lamps attributed to Angelo Lelii for Arredoluce, dating from the 1950s and showcasing the refined geometric elegance that defined Italian mid century modern lighting. Each lamp features a cylindrical composition with mustard lacquered metal elements surrounding a central white opaline glass diffuser, creating a striking balance between colour, form and functionality. The upper metal section is adjustable and can slide to partially cover the glass diffuser, allowing subtle control over the light output and visual appearance. Supported by a chrome plated metal arm and resting on a circular white base with a delicate glass disc, the design combines architectural precision with remarkable visual lightness. When illuminated, the opaline glass emits a warm and diffused glow that highlights the clean lines and sophisticated proportions of the lamp. Retaining their original working electrical system and never previously used, these lamps are presented in excellent vintage condition with intact glass diffusers.
