Pair of wall appliques designed by Toni Zuccheri, Italy, 1970s. A sculptural expression of Italian modern lighting, these fixtures are crafted in richly textured Murano glass and reflect Zuccheri’s distinctive approach to organic form and material experimentation. The thick glass volumes capture and diffuse light with depth and warmth, highlighting the artisanal mastery of Venetian glassmaking traditions. Produced during a decade defined by bold experimentation, the design blurs the boundary between functional illumination and decorative art object. Their dynamic presence enhances architectural interiors while appealing to collectors of Italian modern design. Offered in very good vintage condition, the glass remains well preserved with minimal age consistent wear, maintaining both visual integrity and performance. An authentic and characterful example of 1970s Murano craftsmanship with strong sculptural impact.
