A distinctive pair of Model Holy cantilever armchairs designed by Diego Mattu in 1973 for 1P Industria Chimica per l'Arredamento, Italy. The chairs feature sculptural black polyurethane powder-coated metal structures, creating a strong geometric profile while supporting the generously upholstered seats and backrests. Finished in green ribbed chenille, the upholstery introduces a rich texture and colour that contrasts beautifully with the black frames. The cantilevered construction and bold proportions reflect the experimental character of 1970s Italian design, balancing visual impact with comfortable seating. Produced during the 1970s–1980s, the armchairs are presented in an excellent state of preservation.
