This rare pair of geometric wall lamps was designed in the 1950s by Danish architect Rolf Graae and produced in Denmark by the renowned lighting manufacturer Fog & Mørup. Completely handcrafted, each sconce is composed of carefully soldered brass elements, creating a sculptural and architectural form that reflects Graae’s background in ecclesiastical design. This model was originally conceived for churches designed and renovated by Graae, lending the lamps a restrained yet monumental presence rooted in Danish modernist principles. Both wall lamps are in very good vintage condition, showing only minor wear and small black spots consistent with age and use. The wiring has been redone and fitted with E14 sockets, making them ready for contemporary use while preserving their original character. Exceptional and atmospheric lighting pieces for collectors of rare Scandinavian design.
