This set of two chairs was produced in Italy during the 1960s, reflecting the influence of Bauhaus design principles on Italian furniture. The chairs are defined by minimalism, structural clarity, and a harmonious combination of materials. The frames are crafted from metal, providing strength and durability, while the backrests and seats are made from rattan and beech wood, combining natural warmth with sculptural elegance. This blend of industrial and organic materials exemplifies the Bauhaus ethos of uniting functional design with visual simplicity. Produced in Italy, these chairs remain in original condition with light signs of age consistent with careful use, including subtle patina on the metal frame and gentle wear on the rattan and wood. These marks enhance authenticity while preserving overall integrity. As a pair, they offer timeless modernist appeal and functional design, making them a perfect choice for collectors and curated interiors seeking mid-century Italian Bauhaus influence.
