This elegant set of two bamboo armchairs was made in Italy in the 1970s and recalls the refined “Roman style” associated with Vivai del Sud. The frames are crafted entirely from lacquered bamboo, showcasing artisanal workmanship and an attractive glow developed over time. Curved front and rear legs give the design a lively, slightly elastic visual rhythm, balancing warmth with a clean, architectural silhouette. The seat and back cushions have been reupholstered in a vibrant lime-green fabric, creating a fresh contrast against the honeyed bamboo tones. The set is in excellent vintage condition, with natural colour variations and minor imperfections consistent with age.
