A rare pair of Sirocco Safari Lounge Chairs designed by Arne Norell and produced by Arne Norell AB, Sweden, during the 1960s. Widely regarded as one of the icons of Scandinavian Mid Century Modern design, the Sirocco chair combines the relaxed elegance of traditional safari furniture with the exceptional craftsmanship of Swedish cabinetmaking. These chairs feature beautifully grained solid rosewood frames and original green leather sling upholstery, creating a striking contrast between the warm timber and the rich leather. The suspended leather construction provides remarkable comfort while maintaining the lightweight, knock-down design that made the Sirocco internationally acclaimed. The original leather has developed a beautiful natural patina, enhancing the authentic character of the chairs. Highly collectible and increasingly sought after, this pair is ideal for sophisticated living spaces, reading rooms or curated interiors. Presented in excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with their history.
