A stunning pair of Sirocco safari chairs designed by Arne Norell and produced by Arne Norell AB in Aneby, Sweden during the 1960s. Crafted with beautifully grained solid rosewood frames and rich red leather upholstery, these iconic lounge chairs embody the relaxed elegance and exceptional craftsmanship that define Scandinavian Mid Century Modern design. Inspired by the classic safari chair, the Sirocco combines a lightweight knock-down construction with luxurious materials, offering outstanding comfort and timeless aesthetics. The vibrant red leather has developed a beautiful natural patina, enhancing the character of the chairs, while the sculptural rosewood frame provides warmth, stability and visual refinement. Highly sought after by collectors, this rare pair complements Scandinavian, Mid Century Modern, Modernist and Art Deco interiors alike. Due to the rosewood construction, CITES documentation is required for export outside Europe. Presented in excellent vintage condition with authentic age-related character.
