This secretaire was designed by Kai Kristiansen and manufactured by Tørring Møbelfabrik in Denmark during the 1960s and is a refined example of high quality Danish modern cabinetry. The design is distinguished by its elegant proportions, beautifully shaped drawer handles, and the way the solid wood legs visually continue into the sides, creating a cohesive and sculptural structure. Executed in teak, the piece displays rich and expressive wood grain throughout. The secretaire offers generous and well organised storage, with three large drawers at the base and an interior fitted with two shelves and three smaller drawers, one of which includes an integrated mirror. A manufacturer’s logo is present on the back, confirming authenticity. Crafted to the highest standards, the piece is in very good condition, having been carefully maintained by a renowned Møbelfabrik workshop with over 35 years of experience in wood treatments. A functional yet elegant storage piece that embodies the timeless appeal of mid century Danish design.
