This exceptional coffee or side table by Italian artist Zaltron is truly a conversation piece. Crafted in the 1960s, the sculptural base—carved from dark-stained poplar—depicts two expressive human figures. One reclines gracefully, running her hand through her hair, while the other, turned in the opposite direction, plays a flute that dissolves into abstract form.
