This vintage desk lamp attributed to Robert Sonneman captures the bold and sculptural character of 1980s Space Age design. Often referred to as a Saturn lamp, it features a distinctive circular glass shade resembling planetary rings, combined with a matte black metal structure. The clean architectural stem and stable round base create a balanced and modern silhouette. The tempered glass diffuser provides a soft, even light and is equipped with a dimmable R7 halogen bulb for adjustable ambiance. The lamp shows minor signs of age such as light surface wear consistent with vintage use, while the glass remains free from chips or cracks. One small clip has been replaced and is only visible from below. A striking and functional piece ideal for desks or contemporary interiors.
