This Danish round rosewood table was produced by Skovby Møbelfabrik in the 1970s, a period defined by functional elegance and refined material use in Scandinavian design. The table exemplifies the era’s focus on clean lines, practical forms, and the natural beauty of solid wood.
Crafted in rosewood, the piece displays rich tonal variation and distinctive grain patterns, emphasizing the material’s warmth and visual depth. Rosewood was highly prized in Danish furniture production during the late modern period, making this table both a functional object and a statement of material sophistication.
