This modular shelving unit is a classic example of Danish modern design from the 1960s by celebrated designer Kai Kristiansen, produced for FM Møbler in Denmark. Crafted with richly grained rosewood veneer, the piece embodies the clean lines, functional ingenuity, and warm natural tones that define Scandinavian mid-century furniture. The unit features three adjustable shelves that can be repositioned along vertical supports to suit your display or storage needs, making it perfect as a bookshelf, display solution, or focal point in living and work spaces alike.
This shelving system has been carefully refreshed to enhance its surface while preserving the integrity of the original materials, with minor scratches and veneer imperfections reflecting its age and authentic use. Its pared-back elegance and adaptable configuration make it an exceptional addition for collectors and design lovers seeking thoughtful form and everyday utility in a curated interior.
