This red metal floor lamp by Boulanger is a confident example of 1970s Belgian lighting design, combining bold color with a clean, architectural silhouette. Crafted entirely from metal, the lamp reflects the era’s expressive approach to form and finish, where strong hues and functional design coexisted with sculptural intent. Produced in Belgium, this piece embodies late-20th-century European modernism, when lighting objects were designed to stand out while remaining highly practical. The vibrant red finish brings graphic impact, while the balanced structure allows the lamp to integrate seamlessly into both contemporary and eclectic interiors. It works equally well as a statement accent or as functional ambient lighting. The lamp is preserved in good original condition, showing visible signs of age and use consistent with its period. These marks contribute to its authenticity and underline its original character without compromising its visual appeal. A striking and characterful lighting piece, this Boulanger floor lamp is ideal for collectors seeking authentic 1970s design with strong presence.
