The Quadrifoglio floor lamp, designed by Studio 6G for Harvey Guzzini in the 1970s, is an iconic example of Italian Space Age lighting design. Named after the Italian word for four-leaf clover, the lamp features a distinctive four-lobed white acrylic diffuser supported by an elegant chrome-plated metal structure. The sculptural design combines futuristic aesthetics with functional lighting, making it a sought-after piece among collectors of vintage Italian design. The central stem is formed by a cluster of chrome tubes that separate into four arms, supporting the organically shaped diffuser. When illuminated, the acrylic shade emits a soft, atmospheric glow while highlighting the lamp’s striking silhouette. This example remains in good vintage condition, with minor patina and light oxidation to the chrome consistent with age. A rare and highly decorative floor lamp that works beautifully in mid-century modern, Space Age, modernist and contemporary interiors. Harvey Guzzini lighting remains highly collectible worldwide for its innovative use of materials and timeless futuristic forms.
