The Pollock table lamp by Archaic Smile Inc is a distinctive example of American design from the 1990s, defined by its sculptural tripod wireframe base. Crafted from metal, the open framework creates a light, architectural silhouette that emphasizes structure, balance, and negative space. The design reflects a postmodern sensibility, where functional objects were approached as expressive forms. Produced in the United States by Archaic Smile Inc, the lamp showcases a thoughtful interplay between industrial materials and refined proportions. The wireframe construction allows light to move freely around the base, giving the lamp a graphic presence without visual heaviness. Its sculptural quality makes it equally suitable as an accent piece or a functional light source within curated interiors. The lamp is in very good original condition, with the metal structure remaining clean and stable and showing only minimal signs of age consistent with careful use. It is a well-preserved and collectible lighting piece, representative of American design experimentation during the 1990s.
