The iconic PK54 dining table was designed by Poul Kjærholm and produced by Fritz Hansen in Denmark, with this example dating from 2011. A masterful expression of Kjærholm’s philosophy of combining industrial precision with natural materials, the table features a solid marble tabletop resting on a minimalist base in brushed steel and maple. The circular marble top brings weight, tactility, and quiet luxury, while the engineered steel structure provides clarity, balance, and structural honesty. Designed as a gathering table for dining or meeting spaces, the PK54 is celebrated for its timeless proportions and architectural presence, making it equally suited to contemporary, modernist, and collector-focused interiors. This example is in excellent condition, preserving the refined material contrast and sculptural purity that define one of Kjærholm’s most enduring designs.
