Rare F156 Little Oyster lounge chair by Pierre Paulin for Artifort, introduced in 1959 as the smaller and far less common version of the iconic Oyster series. Produced for only a short period and never reissued, the F156 is highly sought after by collectors. This authentic early edition features Paulin’s sculptural open shell form on its original nickel plated steel frame, giving the chair an elegant compact presence suited to modern interiors. In very good vintage condition with light wear, the frame shows a historical weld repair typical of early production yet structurally solid and not visible in normal use. Upholstery is clean and presents beautifully. Dimensions: 70 x 75 x 83 cm, seat height 35 cm.
