This gorgeously patinated metal floor lamp is attributed to Australian designer Made Wijaya, born Michael White 1953–2016, who relocated to Bali in the 1970s. The lamp embodies the expressive and atmospheric aesthetic associated with tropical modern design, where material character and surface aging become central to the piece’s identity. The metal structure displays rich patination and varied discolorations that enhance its sculptural presence and visual depth. Fully rewired and refitted for general E14 light bulbs, the lamp is in great working condition. Its organic, time worn finish makes it a striking addition to eclectic, bohemian or contemporary interiors and it can also function beautifully in covered outdoor areas.
